I Feel Liberated
February 3, 2010 Get ready.
Itching to be Fabulous is my creative outlet and the photos that I post on it are edited. Once my Lightroom (the photo editing program I used) 30-day trial was up, I had no way of editing my photos. I thought.
When I purchased my pretty laptop, I opted to have Photoshop Elements (PSE) installed. So, I've had PSE for a while--longer than the 30-day trial of Lightroom. In PSE, I am able to edit photos just like I did in Lightroom! (Well, kinda "like." Same, same, but different.) Yeah. I'm lame. I was just so distraught and not able to think beyond my misery.
THEN!!! I found CoffeeShop! AH-MAY-ZING!!! CoffeeShop offers free actions that are workable on PSE. I know! (An action is a smish-smash of multiple commands that edit a photo in a specific way. For example, Vintage News will cause your photo to look like an aged, black and white photo. Therefore, actions are very useful because you, yourself, do not have to go step-by-step to edit a photo a particular way. With one click, an action completes all the steps in a matter of seconds.)
I am very excited that CoffeeShop offers actions for Photoshop Elements. I assumed that actions could only run on its older and better sister, Photoshop. You see ... PSE only cost me about 50 bucks. But, Photoshop requires you to drop 700 buckeroos. Ouch! I ain't that rich yet. :) Yay!!! for CoffeeShop.
I used a few CoffeeShop actions for Skyler's senior photos.
