1 and Full of Sweets!

I am fascinated by this photo. AND Husband captured this one. IMPRESSIVE. Of course, being the pathological picture-taker I am, I let him know why this was such an awesome photo. I frequently let Husband know that there are many wife-husband photography teams out there in this wonderful world of ours. "Yeah, yeah," he says. A girl can dream.

Little One officially denied food today. Oh yeah. A handful of a grilled ham-cheese sandwich and green beans made it into her mouth AND out came the green beans. The skill of it all was quite impressive. It made my MIL and me laugh, but we tried to hide our delight, right? I bet all of the recent birthday festivities introduced her to the happy world of sweets that she's bound to never leave.

Hello Again

My laptop crashed last week, was sent to computer hospital, has fully recovered, and is up and running like a champ. They (the computer geeks--I mean that in the most reverent way) tell me there was a glitch. That's it. A glitch. I would have loved to hear how to prevent the glitch from occurring in the future. Husband says that they don't give out their secrets. Hm.

Computer Time, Together

As many of you know, trying to fit computer work and Internet browsing in during the day often requires the little one's participation. She's very happy about it. I mean, how can a day out and about in much-needed warm weather compare, right? Spring can't come soon enough. Hello?

See that guitar case in the background? Well, it houses the guitar I borrowed from my sister. I borrowed it so that I could teach myself how to be a phenomenal guitarist. Yeah. Little One and I pull the guitar out every few days to pluck on random strings to add entertainment to a usual day.

Happy Wednesday. That means ... Happy 1st Birthday Little One!

1 and Full of Fun!

Little One and Lil' Sis celebrated their birthdays together. AND, of course, it was fabulous! With lots of delicious food and lots of friends (95% of which were Lil Sis's who adopted Little One as their own), it's hard to mess up.

Lisa

Really? Lisa really is this gorgeous inside and out. Obvious, right?

We hung out at Los Angeles Union Station. AND I LOVEd it! I have seen the station in a few movies and badly wanted to visit it. So, it was great! If I had to choose, I'd prefer to be at Grand Central Terminal in New York City, but who ever has to make that kind of decision. :)

What a good sport she was! This is usually how it goes: the person I am photographing and I show up to a site very, very excited for the experience; a half-hour passes and I am just gaining momentum as my "model" starts to get the oh-my-face-is-tired-of-smiling sickness; it's close to an hour and I just want to get the "just one more shot" photo many times over; then, I see that I need to stop shooting very, very soon, like now--Lisa was no exception. I am sure that her not eating before the photo session hurried the attrition. I usually bring sustenance along, but was only prepared with the basic puff snacks  and half-slice of bread for Little One.

However, once we arrived at the Grand Central Market, we ate some delicious food and were all happier.

Stay tuned. Yup! More photos are on their way.
